A CONTEMPORARY PIRATE / MICK MARCH
Any NetWork connected to The Stones, Lapo Elkann, Dasha Zhukova + Johnny Depp is worth a look. That tribe has enough taste-making credibility to launch a NetClub for the very Few. Mick thrives on connecting bright minds and taste rebels.
So it comes as no surprise that Mick March's A COOL WORLD has done well since launching January 1st gaining support from elite brands like Prada, Zadig & Voltaire + D&G.
The site a social club platform that works like a high-end mix of Chateau Marmont and Eden Roc, suited perfectly for people who live in or aspire to places like Paris, Milan, London and Berlin. It allows people to exchange their very absolute experiences and next life styles. They share their black book intelligence to put on their personal feeds, which become a stream of what they consider cool.
WHAT WOULD THE TITLE OF YOUR AUTOBIOGRAPHY BE?
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TRAVEL DESTINATION?
I’m a contemporary pirate and live on an island. In St. Barths I feel connected to my roots. My favorite places St. Paul de Vence and Sausalito.
WHAT CAN’T YOU TRAVEL WITHOUT?
My iPad Air. In my 20s I was going on weekends with friends all over Europe. We would take only a toothbrush. Nothing was planned. No hotel. No luggage. No reservation. No guide book. Once on the plane we were starting to talk to people and get addresses… that was amazing. Some of the best (and craziest) souvenirs of my life!
IF YOU COULD CHOOSE ONE PERSON TO SHOW YOU “THEIR NEW YORK CITY,” WHO WOULD IT BE?
Andy Warhol… do you need to ask me why?
WHO HAS INSPIRED YOU RECENTLY?
Lapo Elkann … he is a risk taker and pirate with big ideas.
WHAT ALBUM OR SONG WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOUR SOUNDTRACK TO NYC?
“Money for nothing and the chicks for free” by Dire Straights
WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO LATELY?
I mostly listen to electronic music and jazz, but sometimes I need my fix of rock, reggae and old school hip hop. These days: Nicolas Jaar.
